Excellent room...

The evening we stayed there (Jan 26th 2013) we ordered room service at about 8pm. two dishes a club sandwich and an Apple crumble with custard.. The club sandwich was fine but the Apple Crumble was NOT sent NOR were we informed that it was finished. Instead the chef took it upon himself to send up a dessert with peaches to which I am allergic !!!! Thus I had to complain and request a refund. Should the kitchen not have phoned us in room 511 and told us about the problem ?? I WOULD APPRECIATE A RESPONSE TO THIS COMPLAINT !
